Ohio Groups Fighting Foreclosure Receive Funding

A group of 11 nonprofit organizations have received an additional $1 million from the State of Ohio to help fight off foreclosure. The organizations have so far helped 515 low-income and middle class families in their homes by providing no-interest loans from $3,000 to $5,000.

The funding was provided by the state's Office of Housing and Communit Partnerships, and is a bright spot in a state that is one of the hardest hit in the mortgage foreclosure crises.
